• piece of foam core or drawing board
• 1" masking tape
• extra soft vine charcoal
• kneaded eraser
• Canson Mi Tientes pastel paper (not white)
• a soft rag such as flannel
• Faber Castell 72 stick box
• Terry Ludwig darkest purple V100, green G190, blue B360 and red R179 or other darkest darks
  
• glassine or newsprint to cover work
• view finder
  

PLEIN AIR STUFF (everything's optional, *highly recommended)

• french style easel* (cheap at Job Lot)
• NuPastels (harder pastels -  bottle green)
• pastel pencils
• HAT with brim, neutral color*
• umbrella
  
• latex gloves
• blending stumps, colour shapers, foam brush...
  
• digital camera*
• bug spray, sun screen, water bottle*
• pencil sharpener (Dahle 155)

CLEAN UP

• Lava soap
• Oxy Clean
• baby wipes
