Arrested Development
Late hybrid school openings and the pandemic have thrown a monkey wrench into educational operations here at the Top. So far only two kids have committed to after school classes, one for Tuesdays and one for Thursdays, so I’m postponing in-person classes until people get settled in to the new school situation. I’m posting the tentative schedule below, which includes Zoom classes that are definitely happening, but those in-person classes won’t be taking place until I have 3 or 4 (4 is max unless a tight bubble) signed up. I am flexible and willing to modify the schedule to best serve students and their families. So, if you have scheduling suggestions, I’m listening. Meantime, I’ve been working on a big 3×3 foot oil painting Jim asked me to make for the kitchen. I’d forgotten just how different (and messy) working with oils is, and today I need to let it dry before I can add another layer. TENTATIVE CLASS SCHEDULE – Classes will be 4 students. We will continue to use best practices for health and safety by wearing masks, distancing, sanitizing, keeping it airy, and being conscious and aware. THIS WEEK ZOOM CLASS CANCELLED People are too distracted with school starting. NEXT WEEK – These classes won’t happen unless I have enough kids.
Wednesday, wondering if we can put an advanced class together. Thursday, Sept 24, 4-5:30 – Down & Dirty
