Blooming Artists

With so many things flowering at the Top, we are taking the time to look very closely at them. The poppies are popping this week, so last week and this week we’re all O’Keeffe’s.

PICK UP ARTWORK AT BRAMHALL’s this FRIDAY, JUNE 1. PLEASE go get the works so I don’t have to bring them back here. We are in the throes of construction and getting ready to move, so it would be very helpful if people picked up before the end of the day Friday.  I’ll be going over there around 4, to take whatever is left.

Auction update: We got another check for $50 from a generous grandparent, and I added another $25 to make our donation to SEMPBA total $1000! Wow! Thanks, everyone who made this our best auction ever!

Enjoy the artwork, and scroll down for the schedule.

Scheduling gets tricky this time of year with schools closing different dates and people’s lives switching into summer mode.  If I have enough students we’ll go through June 22. I may have to consolidate some classes if they get too thin. Then I plan on taking the last week of June and the first 2 weeks of July off to furnish next door (if the floors are done) and move. If you want classes, just ask, and I may be able to accommodate if there’s sufficient interest.

SUMMER: If you have a desire for summer art, tell me about it. I’m going to need a few weeks to work on the Top and move house, so I’m holding off on creating a schedule. By mid July I should have a better handle on the situation, and I’ll probably offer a few 3 or 4-day week sessions of Art Smorgasbord, hopefully in the new studio.
