Happy New Year!
Happy New Year and Welcome back! We did upside-down Santa the week before Christmas, and the kids are hoping for more upside-down work in future. It is a great way to take the brain out of the art-making operation, and get to the truth of what the eyes see.

I had five awesome artists from Kingston join me for vacation art on Monday where they got the orange lesson and made their first still life paintings with me. 🙂
THIS WEEK Who is your favorite famous artist? Maybe you have more than just one. We’ll be learning from the masters for the next couple of weeks. I love them all and have a special kinship with Henri Matisse and Paul Cezanne, and of course, Leonardo.
