Inspired by a friend’s photos from Africa, we went on an art safari last week, as a little breather before we get into the work of the season. Bones Jones will be posing for us next week as an intro to figure drawing the following week, and then the week of October 22, we’ll be doing the Great Halloween Candy Challenge, a difficult and yummy artistic challenge. Halloween week it’ll be scary stuff like bats and witches and haunted houses. If kids have a scary reference item or picture they’d like to paint, they are welcome to bring it that last week of October. Think of it as a scary free draw.

CLASSES
Jim is making the front steps, but students will always come down the driveway, and enter through the back door, leaving shoes in the pantry (until we get the side entrance done). Kids are welcome to leave a pair of slippers or indoor footwear on the rack to have here.

Please notify me 24 hours in advance if your kid won’t be coming. Payment is expected for last minute cancellations or no shows. Of course sometimes there are extenuating circumstances like illness that are handled differently. But if your kid gets sent home or stays home sick, please inform me at your earliest convenience. I have not increased prices in 8 years and hope to keep it that way.
