Seeing

For the past two weeks we’ve been taking Georgia O’Keeffe’s advice, and taking time to really see. Last week we were all O’Keeffes, exploiting the gifts of my garden.

Again, thank you to all of the artists, friends and families, and Bramhall’s Country Store for participating in our 10th annual show. Last Tuesday I handed the Southeastern MA Pine Barrens Alliance $1000!
If you didn’t pick up the works at Bramhall’s, they are out on the porch here at 18 Savery. Please pick up soon so they don’t get damaged from the weather out there.

Enjoy the works, and scroll down for the schedule.

I’ll be holding regular classes through the 3rd week of June, then taking a few weeks off to finish and move next door. If class size is diminished to fewer than 3, we’ll consolidate. Jim has been working like crazy to get the studio ready! Very exciting.

Please look at the schedule carefully and correct me if I’m wrong.

THIS WEEK we’re making beach art with sand, water and waves.

SUMMER: If you have a desire for summer art, tell me about it. I’m going to need a few weeks to work on the Top and move house, so I’m holding off on creating a schedule. By mid July I should have a better handle on the situation, and I’ll probably offer a few 3 or 4-day week sessions of Art Smorgasbord, hopefully in the new studio. Meantime, if you want a class and have 4 peeps, I’m game.
