Smorgasbord!

We had a wonderful summer of Art Smorgasbord! We did clay pieces, watercolor, pastel, and acrylic paintings. Moving into after school classes starting  September 14. Class size is limited to 6 students, and Thursday is already full.  I might do an every other Monday for little kids if all the regular classes get filled up with bigger kids. Enjoy these eclectic artworks, and see the evolving after school schedule below.

I made this painting for Bug Light’s 150th birthday fundraiser September 18 at PYC.
Sarah finished her Girl with the Pearl Earring! She nailed it!
And Ryan whipped out this abstract guy.

PANDEMIC POLICY – Last year we successfully practiced safety, courtesy, awareness, and common sense from October through June, and everyone managed to stay healthy. Anyone who thought they may have been exposed stayed home that week. Now, with the delta variant, we need to be extra vigilant especially with the unvaccinated kids. I think we’ll just do what we did last year: be mindful of the situation, keep space between us, sanitize, and do our best to stay healthy. I’ll keep classes small. We’ll keep the masks on when inside. I’m depending on parents to stay on top of things as far as exposure at school goes.
