I am starting to compile the list of students who will be exhibiting in the show. \u00a0If you know you will be participating, let me know as soon as possible, as I can start putting together the postcard and program. If you \u00a0know the works you\u2019re going to show, the sooner I have that into, the better. Looking at my calendar, I\u2019ve moved the deadline to commit to April 7. \u00a0So let me know if your in.<\/div>\n

April 7 – Commit to Show<\/div>\n
April 14 – Titles and prices or NFS of 2 paintings to exhibit<\/div>\n
May 5 – Paintings delivered to me<\/div>\n
May 13 – 5:00-7:00 Opening party and silent auction at Bramhall\u2019s Country Store, 2 Sandwich St, Plymouth<\/div>\n
Show will run for a month<\/div>\n

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW:<\/div>\n
Any student who has had classes with me over the past year or so is welcome to put 2 new pieces in the show. They need to be framed and ready to hang. \u00a0You can get 8.5×11 document frames at the Dollar Store. This is a great way for emerging artists to see their work hanging in a public place. Artists are welcome to put a price on their work, though most chose NFS (Not for sale). I recommend $20- $30 for the kids; Bramhall\u2019s gets 10%.<\/div>\n

AUCTION: In a few weeks we\u2019ll be making paintings of whales and dolphins to auction off to benefit WDC – Whales & Dolphin Conservation\u00a0http:\/\/us.whales.org<\/a>. (Last year we raised over $500 for ERDG!) \u00a0This is a great way for students to see how they can use their talents to benefit the greater good. \u00a0Students don\u2019t have to donate their work, but I encourage it. \u00a0Starting bids are $10 per piece (except mine is $50) I take care of the framing. The works will be auctioned off at the opening on May 13.<\/div>\n

OPENING is Friday, May 13, 5-7:00 at Bramhall\u2019s Country Store, 2 Sandwich St, Plymouth where we have a fun party. \u00a0Jim and I provide a bunch of pizzas, and everyone is encouraged to sign up to bring finger foods or kids\u2019 drinks. \u00a0I\u2019ll be sending out an email with a sign up list, also posting at the blog where you can sign up in comments. I\u2019ll provide paper plates and such.<\/div>\n

The show will run about a month, and I\u2019ll send out notice of the pick up date. \u00a0Work will be picked up at Bramhall\u2019s at the show\u2019s end.<\/div>\n
