Kids had a blast experimenting with different mediums: clay, watercolor, pastel, and acrylic paints. They’re often happy to return to pastel painting.<\/p>\n

The first day we made stuff with sculpt-it air dry clay. The biggest lesson everyone seems to come away with is that the clay has limitations, and learning what those are make for better work.<\/p>\n

Day 2 (and part of 3) – Watercolor<\/p>\n

Day 3 Pastel<\/p>\n

Day 4 – Paint the clay stuff and make an acrylic paintings. \u00a0Thank you to the artist, Marc Broadway, who makes cool fauve animal paintings. He’s an inspiration to us.<\/p>\n
