The artists made wonderful, lively still life paintings last week. I like to have them paint from life as much\u00a0as possible. Art-from-life is the most intimate and honest art. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

11th Annual Show Update:<\/strong>\u00a0Our auction will be benefitting the Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance<\/a> again this year because their important environmental work is so varied and local with projects including the Plymouth Red-bellied Cooter<\/a>, Plymouth County’s very own endangered turtle, bats<\/a>, moths<\/a>, and the noble horseshoe crab<\/a>. We are blessed to live around and in one of the three coastal pine barrens that remain on this earth, so we join SEMPBA to help\u00a0preserve this globally rare ecosystem.
\nOur opening reception and auction will be\u00a0May 10, 5-7pm at Bramhall\u2019s Country Store. <\/strong>The show will run one week with\u00a0pick up will be Friday May 17 at Bramhall’s.\u00a0This is a great opportunity for any artist who has had lessons, even if only a few, with me over the past year to experience an exhibition and use their art for a higher good. \u00a0I\u2019ll be making reminders and updates as the date draws closer.<\/p>\n

CLASS SCHEDULE
\n<\/strong>Students come down the driveway to the back door, leave shoes in the pantry. Kids are welcome to leave a pair of slippers here. We are enjoying the benefits of a shoe-free home.
\nMaximum class size is 8, so if you want a spot and see an opening, let me know.
