THANK YOU!<\/b>\u00a0Artists, parents, families, and Bramhalls for helping to make this the best ever annual student show! \u00a0Thanks for all of the food contributions, and support, and especially thank you for sharing your awesome kids with me. Bramhall\u2019s (replacing their lobster tank this week) will be totally open for the season next weekend, so go on over and have an ice-cream and enjoy the art.<\/p>\n

AUCTION:<\/b>\u00a0I still need to get the 3 or 4 remaining un-claimed auction items from Bramhall\u2019s tomorrow, and then I\u2019ll know for sure how much we raised. So far I\u2019ve got $449 – which is awesome. \u00a0Make sure to tell your young artists how cool they are for donating their work to help the whales and dolphins. \u00a0I think we\u2019re in line to adopt 10 animals! How cool is that?<\/p>\n

Any kids who want to do the HORSESHOE CRAB ART CONTEST this year can do it next week. \u00a0The deadline is June 15, and I enter them electronically, so we don\u2019t need to send the actual paintings. \u00a0I put all of the entries in a dropbox for them. You can find the application for here:\u00a0http:\/\/www.horseshoecrab.org\/act\/contest.html<\/a>\u00a0Fill it out and bring with or scan and email, and I’ll include it with the works we enter.<\/div>\n

My daughter will be here for a week around June 17, so I may take the week of June 20 off.<\/div>\n

SUMMER:<\/b>\u00a0Last year\u2019s 4-day weekly sessions worked out well. \u00a0 I will tend to do mostly mornings as I hope to get to the farmers\u2019 market on Thursday afternoons. But I will throw an afternoon session in there if peeps want it. \u00a0Is anyone interested in doing the mask-making like last year? That’s a 5-class operation and I\u2019d say mature ages 7 and up. \u00a0It\u2019s quite an arduous process that takes focus and determination. \u00a0<\/div>\n
Other session ages 6 and up, well-behaved and reliable, as I need a certain level of maturity to pull these classes off. \u00a0I\u2019m thinking Backyard Naturalist, Art Smorgasbord,\u00a0Plein air<\/i>\u00a0pastels, stuff like that…<\/div>\n
