Thanks to everyone who donated to my birthday fundraiser. We raised close to $400 to help keep Ocean Protection Advocacy Kids<\/strong><\/a> running during these tough times. Thank you!<\/p>\n

As the weather has gotten nicer, attendance has been waning. Our traditional schedule follows the school calendar, and after our last day of school, I’d stop classes for a few\u00a0weeks, so everyone could get into the summer groove. \u00a0So this week, we’ll just have one zoom class on Wednesday. And then I am taking a few weeks off, and during that time plan for some in-studio sessions. My entire yard and driveway are torn up, so we’ll have sessions in the airy studio with the skylights and windows open, masks on,\u00a0and hands sanitized and washed.\u00a0Classes will be limited to 4 kids at the table for extra distance.\u00a0 Current students whose classes were disrupted get priority.
\nI’m also thinking about some plein air <\/em>painting at nearby locations. Because of the pandemic, students would need to bring their own materials and get dropped off and picked up at the location. So, if you are interested in this, let me know, and I’ll give you a plein air<\/em> equipment and materials list to prepare.<\/p>\n

Tentative schedule will look something like this:
\nJuly 20, 21, 22 – 10:00-noon, Art Smorgasbord with face mask design & fabric painting (I got some blank masks), acrylic, watercolor, pastel (three 2-hour classes $120) Limit 4 students per class.
\nBecause some may still feel uncomfortable attending live class, and I gained some awesome zoom students from far away, I’ll schedule one afternoon zoom class per week, too.<\/p>\n
