I hope everyone is enjoying the beach weather, and staying safe and healthy. I’m almost done with my job for SEMPBA and the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation trail signs. These signs will be stationed in conservation areas throughout the Pine Barrens from Plymouth to the Cape and Islands. One will be by Brewster Gardens where the Town Brook flows out, so we can visit it easily. It’s been quite a challenge to get the character of each plant, bird and animal while making good art and being technically accurate. \u00a0I used pen, ink, and watercolor. Here are a few I finished recently.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>SUMMER\u00a0SESSIONS – Art Smorgasbord\u00a0UPDATED OFTEN as the schedule evolves<\/strong>
\nThree 2-hour classes $120.\u00a0<\/strong>Day 1 – design and paint your new face mask while wearing a face mask, and watercolor painting.\u00a0Day 2 – Acrylic painting.\u00a0Day 3 – Pastel Painting.\u00a0 If students aren’t signed up for a session by the Friday before, I’ll cancel the session.<\/p>\n

WEEK 1<\/strong>\u00a0– Tues, Wed, Thurs morning, July 21-23, 10:00-noon – We are on with three students.\u00a0There’s\u00a0room for one more if anyone would like to join.

IMPORTANT COVID INFO:<\/strong> We wear masks, and sanitize hands upon entering the studio. We keep our masks on unless we are 6′ or more apart from others. We assume we all may have it, and protect the people around us. We keep the skylights and windows open, and the fan on. We wash our hands and the things we touch often. We’ll sanitize areas and materials as they get handled. \u00a0If someone doesn’t feel well,\u00a0please stay home<\/p>\n

Kids come in the front door and take shoes off. The decks are being built on the side and back.<\/p>\n
