Congratulations to Charlotte Holl for winning the blue ribbon in her age group for her pastel painting, “Hermione” at Plymouth Center for the Arts’ Young At Art Show. Yay, Charlie! Portraits are the most difficult art to make. Many grownups and professional artists steer clear of them, but here at the Top, we boldly step out of our comfort zones and take risks. If you can make a good portrait, everything else is cake. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

EVOLVING Covid Creative SCHEDULE – Maximum class size is 4<\/strong><\/p>\n NEXT WEEK Wednesday, (TBA), 3:45-5:30 – Advanced Artists Thursday, Oct 8, 4-5:30 \u2013 Down & Dirty Saturday, Oct 10, 3-5:30<\/strong> – private with Ryan<\/p>\n No one has expressed interest in Zoom classes, so I’m holding off for now.<\/p>\n WEEK AFTER Wednesday, (TBA), 3:45-5:30 – Advanced Artists Thursday,\u00a0Oct 15, 4-5:30 \u2013 Down & Dirty IMPORTANT COVID INFO:<\/strong>\u00a0We wear masks, and sanitize hands upon entering the studio. We keep our masks on unless we are 6\u2032 or more apart from others. We assume we all may have it, and protect the people around us. We keep the skylights and windows open\u00a0whenever possible. We wash our hands and the things we touch often.
