Drawing and painting from life is the absolute best way to grow as an artist. I encourage the students to do some contour drawing and drawing from life every day. The more you draw, the better you get.\u00a0 The more you keep your eye on the subject, the more accurate and honest the work.\u00a0 So, when kids\u00a0complain about being bored or having nothing to do, tell them to draw the very first thing they see in front of them.
