It’s always good to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. Pastel is my chosen medium for many reasons, and it’s especially my favorite medium to teach fine art with because it is so forgiving and hardy at the same time, not to mention the exquisitely rich pigments. You can manipulate it easier, layer, fix mistakes and make adjustments. Of\u00a0this we are absolutely certain: Every piece can’t be a masterpiece, and we learn more from our mistakes than we do from our successes – which is why we experiment often.<\/p>\n

It’s not the product; it’s the process. It’s in the doing where the magic happens, and we learn so much more when we’re open to change. We’ll be painting with acrylics again this week. Enjoy these landscape perspective paintings, and scroll down for the class schedule.<\/p>\n

\nWe continue to operate cautiously.\u00a0We wear masks, and sanitize hands upon entering the studio.\u00a0We assume we all may have it, and protect the people around us by maintaining safe distance. \u00a0We wash our hands and the things we touch often.
