I had so much fun with the littles last week; they were all great listeners and had excellent manners! We did clay, pastel still life of flowers, painted the clay, made fauve acrylic paintings, and had a birthday party too. \u00a0Next week’s Smorgasbord has only three artists signed up but we’re doing it anyway, so if anyone wants\u00a0to join, let me know.<\/p>\n

FALL<\/strong>
\nPeople are already starting to ask about after school classes for the coming year. I usually let kids get\u00a0settled in, and start the regular classes a week or two after school starts. I’ll be doing the same sort of schedule as last (Tues, Wed, Thurs) year with\u00a0Wednesdays set aside for more advanced students. \u00a0I mix ages and find young artists to be generous and helpful with each other. If you want to stake a claim for the fall, just let me know what your preference is, and I’ll add you to the tentative list below. I’m thinking of changing max class size to six, what with the delta variant and my preference for smaller classes.<\/p>\n
