I found this great tricycle at an antique store down the street, and saw it as a perfect\u00a0educational opportunity.\u00a0Drawing and painting this trike offers a myriad of lessons in foreshortening, perspective, proportion, values, shapes & angles, and so much more! \u00a0You’ll be seeing a lot of this trike over the next few weeks, as we’ll do pen and ink\/watercolor and acrylic paintings of it too. The great masters often repeated the same theme or subject\u00a0over and over, learning more and more each time. That’s what we’re doing with the trike.<\/p>\n

October is right around the corner. I am thinking we will do a new and different mask making project using (hopefully fast-drying) paper mache. If anyone has any newspaper to donate to the cause, please recycle it with me. Enjoy these awesome trikes, and scroll down for the schedule.<\/p>\n

PANDEMIC POLICY \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0We are\u00a0extra vigilant especially with the unvaccinated kids, and the fact that everyone is coming from school. We will be mindful and considerate, keep space between us, sanitize, and do our best to stay healthy. \u00a0We\u2019ll keep the masks on when inside. I\u2019m depending on parents to stay on top of things as far as exposure goes. Max class size is 6.<\/p>\n
