Only a month before the big show! Lots to do. \u00a0The only class this week is Monday. Have a fun relaxing April break.<\/p>\n

The Annual Exhibit and Auction:
\n<\/strong>I need to hear from these parents that their kid will be participating: Porter, Valentine, and Venetis. \u00a0I need direct confirmation from parents to make sure they know\u00a0what’s up, as I need to make sure the artwork will be delivered ready to hang for the show. Dollar store document 8.5×11 frames work great.
\nThe\u00a0postcards have arrived, so I’ll be doling those out next week so kids can invite guests.
\nIt’s also time for kids to choose the paintings they’ll have in the show. Newer kids have a couple more lessons to choose works from.<\/p>\n

ANNUAL SHOW TIMELINE
\n<\/strong>April 24 or ASAP \u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Submit info (title, price or NFS) on the 1 or 2 pieces to be exhibited. I need this info to\u00a0create the\u00a0programs. Paintings will need to be framed for hanging.
\n<\/strong>Parents who want to contribute to party food and such let me know what you plan to bring. <\/strong>We provide pizzas, plates, napkins, utensils beer, wine, etc.
\nSo far we have: Pangia-kid drinks, Pesa-cookies, Holland-finger\u00a0sandwiches, Hokanson-desert
\n<\/strong>May 15 or earlier <\/strong>\u2013 All artwork, ready to hang, delivered to me\u00a0
\n<\/strong>May 16-19<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0\u00a0I prepare the auction and hang the show
\n<\/strong>May 19 \u2013 5-7:00 BIG PARTY, opening reception & silent auction
\n<\/strong>June 18\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Pick up work\u00a0from the mud room.
