This week’s featured picture was done by Jack Cleland in 2012 when he was in first grade. Jack started in 2011 when he was in kindergarten, and now he’s in 5th grade. \u00a0He’s rarely missed a class in all of these years!<\/p>\n

I just got a shipment of my book,\u00a0Nelson Telson – The Story of a True Blue Blood<\/i>\u00a0that recently won a READERS\u2019 CHOICE GOLD MEDAL! \u00a0Readers of all ages enjoy the book, and it\u2019s a great gift. The cool thing here is that kids can not only read a really good book that their teacher wrote and illustrated (see the reviews\u00a0https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Nelson-Telson-Story-True-Blood\/dp\/1499538448<\/a>\u00a0) but also see ways they can use their art in pragmatic and exciting ways. Currently I am a director of and working with the Huck-Fin Environmental Education 501c3 to create a curriculum based on the book. It\u2019s very exciting. Let me know if you\u2019d like a copy inscribed for someone and signed by me, and I\u2019ll put one aside. $15 tax included.<\/div>\n
