Paying attention to what’s not there – negative space – is just as important as looking at the subject. When we attend to negative space our ability to render things accurately benefits in wildly good ways. This week, we’ll combine bodies in motion and negative space to get better and better at proportions, figures, and relationships of objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time is flying. Make sure to mark your calendars for our Annual Student Exhibit and Auction May 2, 5-7pm at the Harborwalk Apartments lobby. We’ll be benefitting World Central Kitchen again, as their work is so critical. More info to come once I put the timeline together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lots of colds, flu, covid, strep and pneumonia going around. If kids are sick, please keep them home and I’ll put your balance forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
