The forecast doesn’t look great. If school is closed, we’ll be\u00a0closed too.\u00a0
Before break we looked into negative space – just as important as a painting’s subject. In fact, paying attention to what’s not there greatly increases artistic success. \u00a0We’ll finish up Black History Month and get started with faces by painting famous and historical Black people’s portraits. And then it’s on the self-portraits. I want to get these done early so we can start getting ready for our Annual Student Exhibit and Auction May 15. Mark your calendar if you haven’t.
