Drawing and painting from life is the absolute best way to grow as an artist. I encourage the students to do some contour drawing and drawing from life every day. The more you draw, the better you get.  The more you keep your eye on the subject, the more accurate and honest the work.  So, when kids complain about being bored or having nothing to do, tell them to draw the very first thing they see in front of them. STAYING SAFE AT THE TOP
We continue to operate cautiously. We wear masks, and sanitize hands upon entering the studio. We assume we all may have it, and protect the people around us by maintaining safe distance.  We wash our hands and the things we touch often. We keep the studio well-ventilated, and sanitize areas and materials as they get handled.  If someone doesn’t feel well or may have been exposed, please stay home.
