Kids come down the driveway to the back door. We are a shoe-free house. Leave shoes in the pantry and come upstairs. Kids are welcome to bring indoor footwear like slippers.
We have few rules here at the Top, but expectations are very high. I am an art teacher, not a babysitter. I expect kids to have a certain level of maturity and dedication; to be mindful and considerate of me and each other; to listen and learn – because that’s what we are here to do, and we have a lot of fun, too.
Release form – New students must bring a completed registration/release form when they come to their first class. As students develop and become more independent, they’ll need materials to work outside the classroom.
Here’s a materials list to grow on.
