ANY QUESTIONS?

ABOUT THE SHOW: The annual exhibit is a wonderful way for young artists to exhibit their work in a professional setting, and try to sell it if they want. Each student can display 1 or 2 works, and they need to be framed and ready to hang. Dollar store 8.5×11 document frames work great. Even if you can’t make the opening on May 2, you can still exhibit your work. Everyone is welcome.
This will be our 16th Annual Exhibit & Auction. All pieces listed in the program will default to NFS (Not For Sale) unless kids tell me to put a price on them. There’s no commission so kids get to keep all of money. Sales are made between the artist and buyer.
The show will hang at the Harborwalk Apartments Lobby, 30 Loring Blvd at the Cordage in North Plymouth from the opening May 2, 5:00-7:00PM through June 2 during the lobby’s regular hours.

Kids wear their t-shirts to the opening on May 2. I think I have enough t-shirts for the new kids. So, find those t-shirts, please.

THE AUCTION: The kids use one class to create an auction piece that I frame and create a bid sheet for. This gives young artists the opportunity to use their art for a higher purpose. This year we will benefit World Central Kitchen for the 4th year as their work is so critical these days. Our very broad theme will be Beautiful Things. Over the years we’ve benefitted Heifer InternationalSouth Eastern MA Pine Barrens AllianceBlack Father Horse RescueEcological Research and Development Group (horseshoecrab.org), Whale & Dolphin Conservation, and WCK.

THE OPENING PARTY: We have a big party at the opening on May 2, 5:00-7:00PM. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Jim and I have a bunch of pizzas delivered, and provide beer, wine, plates and utensils. Families sign up to bring stuff like kid drinks, cookies, finger foods, etc. I’ll make a spreadsheet for that.
