We’ve been focusing on faces getting ready for our annual selfies. The self portraits are a practicum for students to use everything they’ve learned over the course of the school year curriculum. It’s the biggest challenge of the year. I like to remind kids not to judge themselves too harshly, as we learn much more from our mistakes than we do from our successes. More failures = More successes.
Once we’ve done those and finished up all of the unfinished works, we’ll start getting ready for our Annual student Exhibit Opening and Auction Friday, May 19, 5-7pm in the lobby of the Harborwalk Apartments, 30 Loring Road at the Cordage. Mark your calendars!
