I hope everyone had a pleasant turkey day. It was a thrill to make the feast in my new kitchen. The silestone countertop is the best pie crust-rolling surface I’ve ever used – cool and slick!
Now that we’ve done that, we’re on to the holidays. For the 4 weeks coming up to Christmas, we will be creating seasonal stuff including snowy scenes, winter animals, cards and gifts.
Dig this awesome letter I got from a young reader who would “explode with tears” if the book, Nelson Telson – The Story of a True Blue Blood, didn’t exist! It certainly made my day.

The kids do a few paintings of wintery subjects, and choose one for their card design. I print out 4 cards for each kid so they can impress their friends and teachers. I also make the cards available as pdf files so you can print more cards if you like.
