There are a few spots available in weeks 4 and 5. We only have three kids in week 4, so if you were hoping to jump in, there’s room for up to three friends to join, two spots in week 5 where we’ll add paper maché to the menu, and one spot available in week 6 mini art for newbies and younger artists. Check out the schedule below, and let me know if you want in.

We had a fun first Smorgasbord.  Tuesday we did Sculpt-It air dry clay, had a popsicle break, finished and set the pieces aside to dry. Wednesday was pastel painting: a quick orange lesson for the new kids to show them how to create volume with values – the key to all good art, then after our popsicle break I got some flowers from the garden, and we painted a simple pastel still life. I had a few extra dollar store frames, so they were able to take their favorite pastel home all framed up to hang. Thursday we painted the clay works with acrylic paint, and then made fauve acrylic paintings.  Enjoy this delicious smorgasbord of artworks, and scroll down for the schedule.
