I hope everyone had an enjoyable April vacation. I need to know what paintings the kids are going to be exhibiting in the show ASAP, so please encourage the kids to choose and name the paintings. Show update below.
I was able to do a quick commission for a friend’s hubby’s 75th birthday, Windsong. And I got the postcard designed and sent to the printer. We should have them by May 5.



This week, kids who finished their portraits will be enjoying Free Draw in the medium of their choice while the others finish up their portraits. I got some really nice, lifelike silk sunflowers to pose for us for our auction paintings to benefit Wold Central Kitchen’s Ukraine Chefs efforts to feed refugees.
ANNUAL SHOW UPDATE
Deadline April 30 – or sooner Need titles for the 1 or 2 artworks (and prices or NFS) for the tags and program. I encourage the kids to invent short (20 characters or fewer) interesting titles for their works, and price them if they want to sell.
May 23 – or sooner All framed artwork delivered to me so I can hang the show.
May 27 – Party & Auction! 5-7:00 at Brabo Benefits, 65 Cordage Park Circle. Artwork can be taken home at the end of the show, or picked up later at 20 Savery Ave.
Party Plans:
Big party and auction at Brabo Benefits, 65 Cordage Park Circle (next to 1620 Winery), 5-7PM. Any parent who wants to bring foods and/or drinks, let me know – see list below. Jim and I will order 10 pizzas, and have the plates and napkins. I’ll get a couple big bottles of wine and some beer. Add your name to the list below for finger foods, cookies, desserts, kid drinks…
