I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing vacation. Time is flying! We’ll be working on expressions, faces, and then creating our annual self portraits, and getting ready for our show and auction in May. Busy busy!
Kids up to 18 might be interested in entering the 2023 Greater Atlantic Region’s Marine Endangered Species Art Contest to make art featuring endangered marine species in our waters. Visit the website for all of the information including a list of potential subjects. Happy to help anyone who wants to enter.
SEMPBA has started a statewide horseshoe crab advocacy group. One of their outreach objectives is to host a horseshoe crab in art and Science exhibit – details coming soon.
We had only the Monday class last week, and the kids, Michael Marc, Therese Matisse, and Conrad Van Gogh, did a great job emulating the masters!
