We’re off to a good start! We’ll be working from life – actual scenes and subjects – often, as it’s the best way for artists to learn how to see 3-D things and render them into 2-D works of art. I recommend that kids draw the simple things they see every day paying attention to the values, highlights and shadows, to hone their observation and drawing skills.
