In the deep gray of winter, we bring light and color to our lives with our artwork. We’ll be working on perspective, 1-point for the younger students, and 2-point for those who like a challenge. Some of the best examples of 2-point perspective are paintings by Edward Hopper, and we’ll be learning a lot from his work as we hone our perspective skills.
I hate to bring this up, but I’ve had a few no-shows lately, and would like to remind everyone that I plan the classes for the kids on the list, and we wait for everyone to show up. My policy is that if you’re on the list, you’re expected, and if you just blow me off without the courtesy of notice, I expect payment. It’s only fair.
