After we do a little tropical art to send February on its way, we’ll start working on faces, expressions, and our annual self portraits. Once we get that done, we’ll be planning for our annual exhibit and auction on May 27. I have decided that we will be benefitting World Central Kitchen‘s Chefs for Ukraine work at the Poland/Ukraine border feeding displaced people who are fleeing the war.  So, we’ll be making art of peace and abundance for our auction.

We are relaxing our mask-wearing since most of the kids are vaccinated, several have had it, and the percentage of positive tests in Mass has gone from 22% to 2.13% in the past two months. We’ll keep an eye on things, and if cases start to spike, we’ll put the masks back on. And of course, anyone who wants to wear a mask is certainly welcome to.

We had a lively bunch for vacation art, with three newbies who got the famous orange lesson. Enjoy these vacation artworks, and scroll down for the schedule.

Ryan did bodies in motion, same reference one ink and watercolor and one pastel.
