Big congrats to Amy Holland for her third place win at the Young at Art Show at the Plymouth Center for the Arts. I often remind students that there’s really no competition when it comes to art since each artist’s unique work often can’t be compared, but that said, it’s always good to stick your neck out and take a chance when exhibition opportunities arise. Good going, Amy!
Fall always brings exciting art opportunities. Annual favorites like harvest still life, Bones McJones (Bones Jones’ rich uncle) comes out from under his cloak to pose for us, scary art, and the great Halloween Candy Challenge, a tantalizing artistic challenge.
