Working from life is the most important thing an artist can do, even if it’s just a small daily sketch. Last week and this, we’re doing a big fall still life. Monday’s scarecrow will have a friendlier head/face so it won’t be scary for the younger artists, and then the skull goes back on for the rest of the week. Kids who finished last week can do scary stuff, and then on to Bones McJones for anatomy, proportion, and a whole lot more.
