IMPORTANT SHOW INFO & DATES
Spring is here, and we’re gearing up for the Annual Student Exhibit and Auction on May 27, 5-7:00 at Brabo Benefits at the Cordage. I need to hear from parents if their kid(s) will be exhibiting, as that confirms that the pieces will be ready to hang for the show. Below is the list of all current students and an x next to their name if they’ve confirmed. If you want your kid to participate, make sure to let me know by confirming before April 1.
After we’ve finished our self portraits, we’ll make auction items to benefit World Central Kitchen. This is a great way for kids to use their art to help feed Ukrainian refugees. Kids are encouraged to donate a piece, but they don’t have to if they don’t want to. I’ll frame them, and hopefully we’ll raise lots of money for this important cause.

IMPORTANT DATES & DEALINES
April 1 – Exhibitor list is complete so I can make the postcards, tags and program.
April 30 – Need titles for the artworks (and prices or NFS) for the tags and program. I encourage the kids to invent short (20 characters or fewer) interesting titles for their works, and price them if they want to sell.
Any parent who wants to bring foods and/or drinks, let me know. Jim and I will order 10 pizzas, and have the plates and napkins. I’ll get a couple big bottles of wine and some beer.

May 23 – All framed artwork delivered to me so I can hang the show.

Class schedule – Spring sports are getting underway, so some kids will be getting much needed fresh air, sunshine and exercise. A few spots will open up starting next week through the end of school.
